Ingredients/Components
- salt
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/4 c
- ground beef - 1 lb
- cans tomato sauce - 2 oz
- cooked rice - 2 c
- green peppers - 4 item
How to make stuffed peppers:
Cut peppers in half lengthwise. Remove seeds and wash. Combine beef, cooked rice, onion, salt, pepper and 1/2 can tomato sauce. Pile mixture into peppers and place in large baking dish. Pour tomato sauce over each pepper. Cover tightly with aluminum foil and bake in moderate (350°) oven for 1 1/4 hours, basting occasionally.Recipe categories: Main dish, Ground beef, Beef.
