Ingredients/Components
- egg - 1 item
- ground beef - 1/2 lb
- tomato sauce - 1 c
- onion - 1 item
- ground pork - 1/2 lb
- large or 10 small peppers - 5 item
How to make stuffed peppers:
Cut pepper in half, remove seeds and pulp. If using small peppers, cut off and scoop out centers. Wash. Wash rice and mix all ingredients except tomato sauce. Fill peppers loosely with the meat mixture. Place in Dutch oven, pour tomato sauce on top enough to cover peppers. Simmer for 1 hour.Recipe categories: Main dish, Ground beef, Beef.
