Ingredients/Components
- chopped onion - 1/3 c
- ground beef - 1 lb
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- cooked rice - 3/4 c
- Worcestershire - 2 Tbsp
- tomatoes - 2 c
- green peppers - 6 item
- shredded cheese - 1 c
How to make stuffed peppers:
Brown beef and onion. Add tomatoes, rice, Worcestershire, salt, pepper and 1/2 cup cheese to meat. Seed peppers and boil in lightly salted water 5 minutes. Drain and stuff with meat mixture. Place in casserole. Put any extra meat around the peppers. Sprinkle rest of cheese on top and bake at 350° for 25 minutes.Recipe categories: Main dish, Ground beef, Beef.
