Stuffed peppers



  • chopped onion - 1/3 c
  • ground beef - 1 lb
  • salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
  • cooked rice - 3/4 c
  • Worcestershire - 2 Tbsp
  • tomatoes - 2 c
  • green peppers - 6 item
  • shredded cheese - 1 c

How to make stuffed peppers:

Brown beef and onion. Add tomatoes, rice, Worcestershire, salt, pepper and 1/2 cup cheese to meat. Seed peppers and boil in lightly salted water 5 minutes. Drain and stuff with meat mixture. Place in casserole. Put any extra meat around the peppers. Sprinkle rest of cheese on top and bake at 350° for 25 minutes.
