Stuffed peppers
Ingredients/Components
- Worcestershire sauce - 2 Tbsp
- chopped onions - 1 c
- bread crumbs
- black pepper
- clove garlic, chopped - 1 item
- ground chuck - 2 lb
- sharp cheese, grated - 1/2 lb
- cans mushroom soup - 2 item
- Texas Pete - 1/4 tsp
- pepper sauce - 1 item
- green sweet peppers - 6 item
How to make stuffed peppers:
Cook ground chuck, onions and garlic in a skillet until brown. Add soup and seasonings. Simmer, covered, for 10 minutes. Add cheese and cook slowly until cheese melts. Stir in bread crumbs. Cut peppers in half lengthwise. Remove seeds. Cook in boiling water with salt until tender, about 5 minutes. Drain. Place peppers on baking sheet. Stuff with meat mixture.
