Stuffed peppers
Ingredients/Components
- Worcestershire sauce - 2 Tbsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- small can tomato sauce - 1 item
- cooked Minute rice - 3/4 c
- Cheddar, shredded - 1 c
- cooked ground beef - 1 lb
- green, emptied peppers - 6 item
How to make stuffed peppers:
Drop peppers in boiling water for 4 minutes. Mix meat, onion, sauce and Worcestershire. Add rice; simmer 4 minutes. Drain peppers. Stuff with rice mixture. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. These can be made in quantity. After stuffing, cool, wrap individually and freeze. When desired, cook in microwave 10 minutes on High, then add cheese and cook 5 minutes on Medium.Recipe categories: Main dish, Ground beef, Beef.
