Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 2 oz
- salt
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/4 c
- cans tomato sauce - 2 oz
- cooked rice - 2 c
- green peppers - 4 item
- ground beef uncooked - 1 lb
How to make stuffed peppers:
Cut peppers in half lengthwise. Remove seeds and wash; parboil for 5 minutes. Combine beef, rice, onion, salt, pepper and 1/2 of sauce. Pile mixture into peppers in large baking dish. Pour remaining sauce over each pepper. Sprinkle with grated cheese. Cover tightly. Bake at 350° for 1 hour. Makes 4 to 6 servings.Recipe categories: Main dish, Ground beef, Beef.
