Stuffed peppers



  • Worcestershire sauce - 2 Tbsp
  • chopped onions - 1/3 c
  • ground beef - 1 lb
  • salt and pepper - 1 item
  • fat - 1 Tbsp
  • medium green peppers - 6 item
  • Mozzarella cheese - 1 c
  • or 1 1 lb - 2 c

How to make stuffed peppers:

Cook hollowed out peppers in salted boiling water for 5 minutes. Drain.

Brown meat and onions in fat. Add tomatoes, rice, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Cover, simmer until rice is almost tender, about 5 minutes. Add half of the cheese. Stuff peppers. Stand upright in baking dish. Bake uncovered 25 minutes. Sprinkle with rest of cheese. Bake 5 minutes more until cheese is melted.
