Stuffed meat loaf
Ingredients/Components
- salt
- butter - 1/4 c
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- catsup - 1/3 c
- minced parsley - 1/4 c
- eggs, slightly beaten - 2 item
- ground chuck
- minced onions - 1/2 c
- powdered thyme - 1/4 tsp
- softened bread crumbs - 4 c
- cans mushrooms reserve broth - 2 oz
- mushroom broth - 1/2 c
How to make stuffed meat loaf:
Melt butter. Saute mushrooms, parsley, onions and thyme. Add softened bread crumbs to this and enough water to moisten bread. Set this aside.Combine ground chuck, eggs, salt, pepper, catsup and mushroom broth. Put half of this mixture in bottom of a square Pyrex dish (approximately 9 x 9-inch). Put bread mix on meat followed by rest of hamburger mix. Bake at 375° for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Let stand 15 minutes more.
