Stuffed manicotti
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- garlic salt - 1/2 tsp
- oregano - 1/2 tsp
- olive oil - 1 tsp
- Mozzarella cheese - 16 oz
- Ricotta cheese - 15 oz
- salt & pepper to taste - 1 item
- Italian Sausage links - 2 item
- fresh garlic, chopped - 1/2 tsp
- box Manicotti shells, partially cooked and drained - 1 item
How to make stuffed manicotti:
Begin by removing casings from sausage. Place in frying pan with 1 tsp. olive oil and 1/2 tsp. fresh garlic. cook until done. Place in food processor until chopped to desire consistency. In a mixing bowl, combine cheeses, eggs, spices, and sausage. Using a knife, stuff manicotti shells with mixture. Layer a 13 oz. baking dish with pasta sauce. Lay shells in dish and cover with additional pasta sauce. Add a splash of water over the top of the dish.
