Stuffed jumbo shells
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1/2 oz
- salt - 2 tsp
- walnuts, chopped - 1 c
- salad oil - 1 Tbsp
- pepper - 1 tsp
- grated Parmesan cheese - 2 Tbsp
- ground beef
- garlic clove, minced - 1 item
- spaghetti sauce - 2 (15
- medium onion, minced - 1 item
- celery - 1 c
How to make stuffed jumbo shells:
One hour before serving, prepare shells as label directs; drain well. Heat salad oil, ground beef, onion, garlic, celery, salt and pepper until meat is well browned. Stir in walnuts and 1/2 jar spaghetti sauce. Stuff rounded tablespoonful of meat mixture into each shell. Reserve remaining meat mixture. Spoon 1 cup sauce into 10 x 2-inch casserole. Sprinkle with remaining meat mixture. Spoon remaining sauce evenly in and around shells, sprinkle with cheese. Bake in 350° oven for 20 minutes.
