Stuffed green peppers



  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • butter - 2 Tbsp
  • bread crumbs - 1 c
  • chili sauce - 1/4 c
  • small onion, chopped - 1 item
  • cooked rice - 2 c
  • green peppers - 6 item
  • ground cooked beef - 1 lb

How to make stuffed green peppers:

Cut off stem ends of peppers; remove seeds. Boil shells about five minutes in salted water and drain.

Stuff peppers with mixture made of ingredients listed, except bread crumbs. Cover with bread crumbs. Bake in moderate oven (350°) for about 30 minutes or until peppers are tender and crumbs are brown. Serve with your favorite tomato sauce.
