Stuffed green peppers



  • can tomato sauce - 8 oz
  • can Spanish rice - 15 oz
  • ground beef - 1 lb
  • to 6 medium green peppers - 5 item
  • good dash Worcestershire sauce - 1 item

How to make stuffed green peppers:

Cut top off peppers and clean out, leaving spines to support the peppers. Put peppers in boiling water for 6 to 8 minutes. Remove and drain well. Brown beef and pour off fat. Mix in rice and some tomato sauce. Stuff the peppers with meat mixture. Put in casserole dish. Spoon a little more tomato sauce on top of each pepper. Bake in a 350° oven for about 20 minutes.
