Stuffed green peppers
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- margarine - 1 Tbsp
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- Worcestershire sauce - 2 tsp
- garlic salt - 1/2 tsp
- ground beef
- grated Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- medium chopped onion - 1 item
- cooked rice - 1 c
- small can tomatoes - 1 item
- whole green peppers - 4 item
How to make stuffed green peppers:
Cut centers from peppers and boil in salted water for about 10 minutes; drain. Brown onion in margarine and then add salt, garlic salt, Worcestershire sauce, pepper and ground beef. Allow meat to brown. Add rice and cheese. Add tomatoes and egg to mixture; toss well and stuff into peppers, putting the remainder of mixture around peppers in pan.
