Stuffed french toast



  • eggs - 12 item
  • pkg - 1 oz
  • milk - 2 c
  • maple syrup - 1/3 c

How to make stuffed french toast:

Cut bread into cubes and place half in the bottom of a greased 9 x 13-inch casserole. Cube the cream cheese and place on top of the bread. Top with remaining bread.

Beat together eggs, syrup and milk. Pour egg mixture over bread. Let stand 20 minutes or cover and put in refrigerator overnight. Bake at 375° for 45 minutes or until set. Serves 8. Serve with fruit or extra syrup.

Healthy Version: Use lite or fat-free cream cheese, egg substitute, skim milk and lite syrup.
