Ingredients/Components
- cream cheese - 8 oz
- milk
- large eggs - 12 item
- loaf white bread - 1 lb
- syrup - 1/3 c
How to make stuffed french toast:
Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan. Cut bread into cubes. Spread half the bread in pan. Cut cream cheese into small cubes; sprinkle half over bread in pan. Repeat layering with remaining bread and cream cheese. Whisk eggs, milk and syrup in large bowl; pour over bread. Cover; refrigerate overnight. Preheat oven to 350°. Bake, uncovered, for 30 to 40 minutes, until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Let stand 15 minutes. Serve warm with more syrup.Recipe categories: Desserts, Lunch/snacks, Breakfast.
