Stuffed flounder fillets
Ingredients/Components
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- egg, slightly beaten - 1 item
- grated Parmesan cheese - 1 item
- chopped parsley - 1 Tbsp
- medium onion, finely chopped - 1 item
- finely chopped celery - 2/3 c
- crab meat - 1/2 c
- seasoned bread crumbs - 1/2 c
- bread crumbs, buttered - 1 item
- flounder or sole fillets - 6 item
- shrimp, cooked and chopped - 1 lb
How to make stuffed flounder fillets:
Wash fillets; drain well on paper towels. Saute celery and onion in butter. Add shrimp, crab meat, bread crumbs, parsley and egg; mix. Spread on fish fillets. Roll up; place in lightly greased baking dish. Pour white wine sauce over fillets. Top with bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese and additional chopped parsley. Refrigerate overnight at this point, if desired. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Serves 6.Recipe categories: Main dish, Saltwater fish, Sole and flounder.
