Stuffed chicken breasts



  • stick margarine - 1 item
  • water - 1 c
  • chopped onion - 1/4 c
  • can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
  • diced celery - 1/4 c
  • chicken breasts - 6 item
  • poultry seasoning - 1 item
  • bread croutons - 3 c

How to make stuffed chicken breasts:

Mix celery, onion, margarine and water together. Bring to a boil. Mix in croutons and poultry seasoning (can substitute 3 cups Pepperidge Farm dressing mix). Debone chicken, pound flat and wrap each piece around a large spoonful of dressing. Place in broiler pan. Mix together chicken, soup and water. Pour over chicken. Bake in oven about 1 hour at 350° to 400°.
