Stuffed cherry peppers
Ingredients/Components
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- oregano - 1/2 tsp
- olive oil - 1/2 c
- large jar cherry peppers - 1 item
- thinly sliced Provolone cheese - 1/2 lb
- thinly sliced Prosciutto - 1/2 lb
How to make stuffed cherry peppers:
Drain peppers; set brine aside. Cut off tops and scoop seeds out of peppers. Roll slices of cheese and Prosciutto and slice into 1-inch pieces. Stuff into peppers spiral side up. Place in deep sided dish. Mix olive oil, brine, oregano, salt and pepper and drizzle over peppers.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Vegetables, Peppers.
