- sugar
- water - 1 c
- chopped dates - 1 item
- red food coloring - 1 item
- cinnamon red hots
- chopped pineapple - 1 item
- or 8 Winesap apples - 6 item
- Combine in saucepan the sugar, water and cinnamon red hots
How to make stuffed baked apples:
Peel and core apples and set aside. Combine in saucepan the sugar, water and cinnamon red hots. Add 1 capful red food coloring. Bring to a boil. Add apples and cook on top of range until tender, turning carefully. Remove apples to cool, then add stuffing and serve.Center Stuffing:1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese chopped pineapple chopped dates Cream together.
