How to make stromboli:

Defrost bread dough and place on a greased plate. Spray or rub oil on dough. Allow dough to rise. After dough has risen, mix the egg with oregano, parsley, basil and salt and pepper as desired. Roll the raised dough into a rectangular shape, about 12 x 18-inch. Spread the egg mixture on the rolled out dough (save some to put on outside surface). Put a layer of pepperoni or salami or ham on dough, then a layer of Provolone cheese or cheese of choice. You may repeat layers of meat or cheese of your choice. Sprinkle last layer with Parmesan or Romano cheese. Roll dough as you would a jelly roll. Press seams and edges to seal. Place seams down on greased cookie sheet. Baste top of dough with remaining egg mixture. Bake at 350° for 1/2 hour or until golden brown.
