Ingredients/Components
- egg - 1 item
- Parmesan cheese - 1 Tbsp
- oregano - 1 tsp
- shredded Mozzarella cheese - 1 c
- garlic, minced - 1 tsp
- sliced pepperoni - 8 oz
- loaf frozen bread dough - 1 item
- pizza or tomato sauce - 1 c
How to make stromboli:
Defrost bread dough. With roller, stretch out dough into a rectangle as long as a cookie sheet and about as wide. (A pinch of flour on dough will help.) After dough is stretched, combine 1 egg yolk (be sure to keep the white), minced garlic, Parmesan cheese and oregano in small bowl; mix until all ingredients are covered in yolk. Spread mixture on half of bread dough. Add toppings. Fold bread dough lengthwise. Be sure to pinch ends tightly. Lightly paint egg whites on top of dough.
