Strawberry rhubarb pie



  • sugar
  • all-purpose flour - 1/4 c
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
  • 1/2-inch pieces rhubarb - 3 c
  • sliced strawberries - 1 c
  • pastry for 2 crust 9-inch pie
  • butter or margarine - 1 Tbsp

How to make strawberry rhubarb pie:

Combine sugar, flour, salt and nutmeg. Add fruit, mixing well; let stand 20 minutes. Spoon into 9-inch pastry-lined pie plate. Dot with butter. Moisten edge and adjust top crust. Flute edge. Bake in 400° oven about 40 to 45 minutes or until done. Serve slightly warm.
