Strawberry pretzel salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- boiling water - 2 c
- powdered sugar - 1 c
- stick butter, melted - 1 item
- cream cheese, softened - 8 oz
- pecans, chopped - 1 c
- pretzels, crushed - 1 c
- carton Cool Whip, thawed - 8 oz
- large box Strawberry Jello - 1 item
- bag frozen strawberries, thawed - 16 oz
How to make strawberry pretzel salad:
Preheat oven to 350°. Make crust by mixing pretzels, pecans, butter and sugar. Press mixture into 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake for 8 - 10 minutes, remove from oven and let cool. Mix cream cheese, cool whip and powdered sugar. Spread on cooled crust and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Mix boiling water and Jello; add strawberries to Jello, stir well and pour on top of cream cheese. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.Recipe categories: Desserts, Strawberry, Gelatin.
