Strawberry pretzel salad

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1 c
• pkg - 1 oz
• boiling water - 2 c
• container Cool Whip - 1 (9
• 1/2 sticks margarine - 1 item
• pretzels, broken to measure

How to make strawberry pretzel salad:

First Layer: Mix broken pretzels and put in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch Pyrex dish. Heat the margarine until melted; pour over pretzels. Bake for 10 minutes at 350°, stirring twice. Let cool.

Second Layer: Cream together the cream cheese (room temperature), sugar and Cool Whip. Cover first layer completely.

Third Layer: Dissolve jello in boiling water. Stir in frozen strawberries. As this begins to congeal, pour over second layer. Great Christmas dish! Yummy to the tummy!
