Strawberry pretzel salad

sugar - 3 Tbsp
cream cheese - 8 oz
boiling water
powdered sugar - 2 c
Cool Whip - 9 oz
margarine, melted - 3/4 c
frozen strawberries - 10 oz
strawberry gelatin - 6 oz
mini marshmallows - 2 c
crushed pretzels not too fine - 2 c

How to make strawberry pretzel salad:

Mix sugar, pretzels and margarine. Bake in a 9 x 13-inch pan at 350° for 15 minutes. Mix powdered sugar, cream cheese, Cool Whip and marshmallows. Spread this over cooled crust. Chill. Combine boiling water and gelatin. Stir to dissolve. Add the frozen strawberries. The mixture will thicken as the strawberries thaw. Pour over the cream cheese mixture. Chill until set.
