Strawberry pie

Ingredients/Components

sugar - 1 c
chopped nuts - 1/2 c
cornstarch - 4 Tbsp
Cool Whip - 1 item
pecans - 1 item
softened cream cheese - 1 item
berry juice - 2 c
large box strawberries - 1 item
small berries - 1 qt
10-inch pie shell, baked and cooled - 1 item
bananas, sliced medium thick - 1 item

How to make strawberry pie:

Boil 1 large box of strawberries until well done. Drain well. Cook strawberries, berry juice, sugar and cornstarch until thick. Let cool. Add 1 quart of small berries. Fold in gently, not to mash.

Line crust with softened cream cheese, 1 layer of bananas and 1 layer of pecans. Add strawberry mixture. Add 1 more layer of bananas and 1/2 cup of chopped nuts. Top with Cool Whip. Decorate with sliced banana, pecan halves and sliced strawberries. Let set about 2 hours in refrigerator.
