Strawberry pie

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 3/4 c
• salt - 1/4 tsp
• cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
• water - 1 c
• red food coloring - 1 item
• fresh strawberries - 4 c
• strawberry jello - 2 Tbsp
• 9-inch pie shell, baked - 1 item

How to make strawberry pie:

Put strawberries into pie shell. In saucepan, mix sugar, cornstarch, salt, jello and water. Cook until clear and thickened, stirring constantly. Add food coloring to make syrup a deep red. Pour syrup over the berries. Chill. Serve with whipped cream
