  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • pkg - 1 oz
  • chopped nuts - 1/2 c
  • flour - 1 c
  • brown sugar - 1/4 c
  • stick oleo - 1 item
  • carton Cool Whip - 1 oz
  • cup fresh strawberries - 3/4 item
  • Topping:2 egg whites

How to make strawberry freeze:

Topping:2 egg whites1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed1/2 c. sugar1 (8 oz.) carton Cool Whip3/4 cup fresh strawberries Mix crust ingredients together and place in 9 x 9-inch pan and bake 15 - 20 minutes at 350°, stirring occasionally, while baking. Set aside to cool. Mix sugar, egg whites and strawberries and beat on full for 10 minutes. Fold in Cool Whip. Put half crumb mix on bottom of dish, 9 x 9-inch or slightly bigger. Pour strawberry mixture over this and put remaining crumb mix on top and freeze. Cut in squares to serve. Serves 6.
