Strawberry delight
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- confectioners sugar - 2 c
- plain flour
- fresh strawberries - 1 qt
- tub Cool Whip - 1 (8
- sticks margarine, melted - 2 item
- Bake at 350° for about 20 to 30 minutes or until browned
- Fold in Cool Whip and spread over cooled crust
How to make strawberry delight:
Mix together and put into a 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan or dish. Bake at 350° for about 20 to 30 minutes or until browned. Cool.Filling:1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese1 (8 to 9 oz.) tub Cool Whip2 c. confectioners sugar Combine cream cheese and sugar. Fold in Cool Whip and spread over cooled crust.Topping:1 pkg. strawberry glaze1 qt. fresh strawberries Spread on top of the cream cheese layer.Note: I use lite Cool Whip, cream cheese and margarine to save calories. I make this dessert in the winter months using 1 can cherry pie filling instead of the fresh strawberries and glaze. If you like a lot of cherries, you might want to use 2 cans.
