  • water - 1 c
  • butter - 1/2 c
  • sugar - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • flour - 1 c
  • eggs - 4 item
  • fresh strawberries
  • sugar, divided - 1/2 c
  • whipping cream - 2 c

How to make strawberry cream puffs:

Filling:2 pt. fresh strawberries1/2 c. sugar, divided2 c. whipping cream In large saucepan, bring water, butter, sugar and salt to a boil. Add flour all at once and stir until smooth ball forms. Remove from heat and beat in eggs one at a time. Continue beating until mixture is smooth and shiny. Drop by tablespoons 2 inches apart on large ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 400° for about 35 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on wire rack.

Filling: Combine berries and 1/4 cup sugar. Chill 30 minutes. Beat cream and remaining sugar until stiff. Just before serving, cut tops off cream puffs. Combine berries and cream mixture. Fill cream puffs and replace tops.
