Strawberry cake
Ingredients/Components
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- cold water - 1/2 c
- cooking oil - 3/4 c
- box confectioners sugar - 1 item
- strawberry gelatin - 1 pkg
- Mix in rest of ingredients
- strawberries, sweetened - 1/2 c
- white cake mix one that calls for fresh eggs - 1 pkg
- frozen strawberries, thawed to the mushy stage, or 1/2 c - 1/2 c
How to make strawberry cake:
Put the package of cake mix into a mixing bowl. Mix in rest of ingredients. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Divide the batter among three 8-inch layer cake pans that have been greased and floured. Bake in a 350° oven for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the batter springs back when lightly touched in the center with the fingers. Cool. Ice.Icing:1/4 lb. margarine1 box confectioners sugar1/2 c. strawberries, sweetened Soften the margarine in a bowl. Gradually work in the confectioners sugar. Add the strawberries.
