Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 5 item
- powdered sugar - 2 c
- cooking oil - 1 c
- butter flavoring - 1 Tbsp
- butter, melted - 2 Tbsp
- box yellow cake mix - 1 item
- box strawberry Jell-O - 1 oz
- box frozen strawberries, thawed - 1 oz
How to make strawberry cake:
Topping:1 (15 oz.) box frozen strawberries, thawed2 c. powdered sugar2 Tbsp. butter, melted1 Tbsp. butter flavoring Mix cake mix and Jell-O powder together. Make a hole in the middle of mixture and add all at once the oil, eggs and strawberries. Beat at medium speed for 3 minutes. Pour batter into a 9 x 13 x 2-inch well-greased pan. Bake in a 350° oven for about 45 minutes or until done. Remove cake from oven and punch holes in it with a fork.Mix topping ingredients and spoon over cake so that it soaks in. Return to oven for 5 to 10 minutes.
