  • box white cake mix - 1 item
  • strawberry Jell-O - 1 pkg
  • plain flour - 3 Tbsp
  • frozen strawberries, thawed - 3/4 c
  • oil or melted butter - 1/2 c
  • eggs - 4 item
  • water or juice from strawberries - 1/2 c
  • vanilla - 1/2 tsp
  • Filling:1 box powdered sugar
  • strawberries, crushed - 1/4 c
  • stick margarine - 1 item
  • salt - 1/8 tsp

How to make strawberry cake:

Filling:1 box powdered sugar1/4 c. strawberries, crushed1 stick margarine1/8 tsp. salt Mix cake mix, Jell-O and flour well and add strawberries, oil and eggs, one at a time. Add water or juice and vanilla. Bake in 3 well-greased and floured pans for 25 minutes at 350°.

Filling: Cream 1/3 of sugar with butter and salt. Add strawberries and remaining sugar. Stir until spreading consistency.
