Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- pkg - 1 oz
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- butter
- water - 1/2 c
- cooking oil - 3/4 c
- box confectioners sugar - 1 item
- white cake mix - 1 pkg
- box frozen sliced strawberries, thawed - 1/2 oz
How to make strawberry cake:
Frosting:1/2 c. butter1 box confectioners sugar1/2 tsp. vanilla1/2 box frozen sliced strawberries, thawed Mix cake mix, gelatin, flour, eggs and water. Beat at medium speed for 2 minutes. Add strawberries (including syrup) to batter. Beat. Add oil and beat 1 minute more. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes in 2 greased 9-inch cake pans at 350°.Frosting: Beat butter until smooth. Add sugar alternately with the berries (including syrup). Add vanilla. If too thick, thin with a little milk.
