Strawberry banana dessert



  • sugar - 1/4 c
  • pkg - 1 oz
  • flour - 1 Tbsp
  • egg, beaten - 1 item
  • cans crushed pineapple - 2 oz
  • bananas not too small - 2 item
  • medium size apples, skinned - 2 item
  • Drain pineapple juice; reserve this
  • chopped nuts you may decrease or increase this amount, if desired - 1 c

How to make strawberry banana dessert:

Dice bananas and apples. Drain pineapple juice; reserve this. Make jello using 2 cups of hot water and 1 1/2 cups of cold water. Chill until slightly thickened, then add bananas, apples and pineapple. Refrigerate overnight.Topping: reserved pineapple juice1 egg, beaten1 Tbsp. flour1/4 c. sugar1 medium size container Cool Whip (8 oz.)1 c. chopped nuts (you may decrease or increase this amount, if desired) Boil pineapple juice, egg, flour and sugar until thickened. Cool. Fold in Cool Whip; spread over jello layer. Sprinkle with chopped nuts. Refrigerate until ready to use.

Use an oblong size Pyrex dish (approximately 8 x 13 x 2-inch).
