Sticky cinnamon rolls
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- water - 1/4 c
- egg - 1 item
- margarine - 1/4 c
- light corn syrup - 1/2 c
- butter, melted - 6 Tbsp
- active dry yeast - 1 pkg
- milk, scalded - 3/4 c
How to make sticky cinnamon rolls:
Combine milk, margarine, 1/4 cup sugar and salt. Cool. Add yeast mixture, egg and 1/2 cup flour, then rest of flour. Knead 5 minutes. Place in a greased bowl and turn. Let rise for 1 hour.Combine 6 tablespoons of melted butter, brown sugar and corn syrup in a 9 x 13-inch pan. Mix well. Roll dough into 15 x 10-inches. Brush with 2 tablespoons of butter, 1/4 cup sugar and cinnamon. Cut 15 (1-inch) slices. Raise 45 minutes. Bake at 375° for 20 to 25 minutes. Invert pan on platter and serve warm.
