Ingredients/Components
- dry yeast - 1 pkg
- milk, scalded and cooked - 1 c
- sugar - 1/4 c
- vinegar - 1 tsp
- flour
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- eggs, beaten well - 2 item
- cooking oil - 1/4 c
- melted butter - 1/4 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- granulated sugar - 4 Tbsp
- raisins optional - 1 item
- brown sugar - 3/4 c
- water - 2 Tbsp
- pecans - 1 item
How to make sticky buns:
Combine yeast, milk, sugar, vinegar and 1 1/2 c. flour; allow to stand until bubbly.Add salt, eggs, oil and second 1 1/2 c. flour. Beat well, let rise until double in size. Roll out 1/2 inch thick and spread with 1/4 c. melted butter, cinnamon, granulated sugar, and raisins if you desire. Roll up and cut into 18 slices.
Mix 1 c. melted butter, brown sugar, and water; spread over bottom of pan and sprinkle with pecans. Lay cut slices of dough over the syrup mix, and allow to rise. Bake in 350° oven for 30 to 35 minutes. Invert on cake rack to cool.
