Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- margarine - 1/4 lb
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- large onion, diced - 1 item
- can tomatoes - 1 item
- bread crumbs 2 to 3 slices, broken - 1 c
How to make stewed tomatoes:
In a frypan, saute onion in margarine. Add brown sugar, salt, pepper and bread pieces. Add tomatoes; chop up some. Pour into a shallow baking dish and bake at 350° for 45 minutes.Recipe categories: < 15 mins, Side dish, Vegetables.
