Steak teriyaki
Ingredients/Components
- ginger - 1 tsp
- lemon juice - 2 tsp
- salad oil - 2 Tbsp
- dry mustard - 1/2 tsp
- garlic powder - 1/8 tsp
- soy sauce - 1/3 c
- coarse grind black pepper - 1/2 tsp
- dark brown sugar, firmly packed - 3 Tbsp
- bottle or can beer - 1 oz
- 1-inch thick round or sirloin steak - 3 lb
How to make steak teriyaki:
Combine first 9 ingredients. Pour over steak. Pierce surface deeply with fork. Cover and refrigerate 12 to 24 hours. Grill 3 to 4-inches from hot coals, basting frequently, with marinade about 20 minutes (10 minutes each side) or until desired degree of doneness is reached. Thinly slice steak on the diagonal.
