Steak on a stick



  • packed brown sugar - 1/2 c
  • water - 1/4 c
  • honey
  • Worcestershire sauce - 2 Tbsp
  • dash of garlic powder - 1 item
  • soy sauce - 1 Tbsp
  • catsup
  • wine vinegar
  • boneless steak, cut into 1-inch cubes - 1 lb

How to make steak on a stick:

Combine first 7 ingredients in a large shallow dish. Add steak; cover and marinate at least 2 hours or overnight in refrigerator, turning occasionally. Drain steak. Add honey to reserved marinade. Thread steak on bamboo skewers. Grill 5 minutes on each side or until desired degree of doneness is reached. Baste with marinade. Makes 4 servings.
