Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 5 c
- salt - 5 tsp
- cornstarch - 1 tsp
- nutmeg - 1 tsp
- vinegar
- dry mustard - 1 tsp
- chopped onions - 4 c
- black pepper - 1/2 tsp
- turmeric - 1 tsp
- jar pimentos - 1 item
- chopped squash - 10 c
How to make squash relish:
Combine squash, onions and salt; cover and let set overnight. In morning, drain good. Combine remaining ingredients; bring to a boil. Fill jars with squash mixture and hot liquid. Seal.Recipe categories: Squash, Appetizers, Spreads.
