Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- salt - 1/2 c
- water - 1 item
- vinegar - 2 c
- celery seed - 2 tsp
- mustard seed - 2 tsp
- turmeric - 1 tsp
- onions - 2 c
- squash - 8 c
- large bell peppers - 2 item
- large jar pimentos - 1 item
How to make squash relish:
Prepare vegetables in food processor. Soak in salt and water enough to cover ingredients for 2 hours. Drain, wash and drain again. In large saucepan boil vinegar, sugar, turmeric, mustard seed and celery seed. Add ingredients and boil 5 to 7 minutes. Fill hot jars and seal.Recipe categories: Squash, Appetizers, Spreads.
