Squash relish
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 5 c
- salt - 5 Tbsp
- nutmeg - 3/4 tsp
- vinegar
- dry mustard - 1 Tbsp
- black pepper - 1 tsp
- onions, chopped fine - 4 c
- turmeric powder - 3/4 tsp
- bell peppers, chopped fine - 2 item
- squash, chopped fine - 12 c
How to make squash relish:
Mix the first 4 ingredients. Cover; let stand overnight in refrigerator, then wash and drain. Mix the next 6 ingredients; bring to boil. Add the first 4 ingredients. Let this get hot for about 15 minutes, then put in jars.Recipe categories: Squash, Appetizers, Spreads.
