Ingredients/Components
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- dash of black pepper - 1 item
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- milk - 2 Tbsp
- onion, chopped - 2 Tbsp
- cooked, drained and mashed squash - 1 c
- self-rising flour - 1/2 c
- oil - 1 item
How to make squash patties:
Mix all ingredients. Drop by spoonfuls into frying pan with hot oil. Brown on each side. Drain on paper towels. Batter will keep one week in refrigerator.Recipe categories: Breads, Vegetables, North american.
