Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 6 Tbsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- beaten eggs - 2 item
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- chopped onion - 2 Tbsp
- sage - 1/4 tsp
- oil for frying - 1 item
- grated yellow squash unpeeled - 2 c
How to make squash fritters:
Mix all together except oil. Grease the frying pan or griddle and heat to medium-high. Drop the mixture by tablespoonfuls in the pan and brown on both sides. Serve warm. This makes enough for 6.Recipe categories: Eggs/dairy, Squash, Side dish.
