Ingredients/Components
- stick margarine - 1 item
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- chopped celery - 1/2 c
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- sage - 1 tsp
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- chopped bell pepper - 1/2 c
- sweet milk - 2 c
- corn bread mix - 1 pkg
- yellow squash - 2 lb
- raw eggs - 2 item
How to make squash dressing:
Cook and drain squash. Prepare and cook corn bread mix. Crumble corn bread; add milk and let soak. Mix pepper, celery, onion and margarine and add soup, sage, eggs, salt and pepper. Mix all together. Use 1/4 of the stick of margarine to grease a 2-quart casserole dish. Pour dressing into dish. Cook in 350° oven for 1 hour.Recipe categories: < 60 mins, Time to make, Side dish.
