Squash dressing
Ingredients/Components
- egg - 1 item
- can milk - 1/2 item
- onion, diced - 1 item
- stick butter or margarine - 1/2 item
- yellow squash - 12 item
- can cream of chicken soup or cream of celery soup - 1 item
- bag Pepperidge Farm stuffing - 1 item
- small carton sour cream or plain yogurt - 1 item
How to make squash dressing:
Boil squash until tender. Slice the squash and cook in microwave on paper towels (high power about 3 to 4 minutes). Dry the squash on paper towels to get as much water out as possible. Mash squash and put into a bowl. Melt butter and add diced onion. Add this to the squash. Mix in soup, milk, egg and sour cream. Add the bag of stuffing. Pour into a 2-quart casserole dish.
