Squash casserole
Ingredients/Components
- margarine - 1/4 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- medium onions, chopped - 2 item
- saltine crackers - 1 item
- cooked squash, drained - 3 c
How to make squash casserole:
Saute onions in margarine until tender. In a baking dish, put a layer of cracker crumbs, a layer of squash, then pour half the onions and margarine over top. Repeat layers. Top with cracker crumbs. Bake at 350° until crackers start to brown.Recipe categories: Squash, Side dish, Casseroles.
