Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 c
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- grated cheese - 1 c
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- Ritz cracker crumbs - 1 c
- yellow squash - 1 lb
- diced onions optional - 2 Tbsp
How to make squash casserole:
Cut squash in slices, cook in salted water and drain thoroughly. Mash to a pulp. Add butter and stir. Add eggs, milk, crumbs and onion. Pour into grated 1 1/2-quart baking dish. Cover with grated cheese. Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes.Recipe categories: Squash, Side dish, Casseroles.
