Squash casserole
Ingredients/Components
- water - 1/4 c
- paprika - 1/8 tsp
- garlic salt - 1/2 tsp
- minced onion - 1/2 c
- egg, lightly beaten - 1 item
- bell pepper - 1/2 c
- red pepper - 1/8 tsp
- 2 1/4 oz - 1/2 c
- slices whole wheat bread, crumbled - 3 item
How to make squash casserole:
Combine squash, onion and water in a 2-quart casserole dish. Cover with lid and microwave on High for 9 to 10 minutes, or until squash is tender, stirring after 4 minutes. Mash squash mixture with potato masher. Add remaining ingredients (except paprika); stir well and cover. Microwave on Medium for 8 to 10 minutes, stirring after 4 minutes.
